Artificial intelligence is transforming the cultural and creative industries – both behind the scenes and on screen. How will AI influence storytelling and visual design? What role remains for humans when algorithms become part of the creative process?
On September 11, 2025, the National Initiative for Artificial Intelligence and Data Economy – MISSION KI invites you to its AI Center Berlin for an evening dedicated to these questions. The program begins with a screening of selected short films that highlight how AI is already used in filmmaking – visionary, experimental, and at times provocative.
Afterwards, experts from film, art, technology, and society will discuss the opportunities, challenges, and ethical dimensions of this transformation. Confirmed speakers include Dr. Pirita Pyykkönen-Klauck (ZDF Sparks), Beka Bediana (BFFS), and Bilge Piskin (Voices of AI).
The event is free and open to the public.
