Requirements, effort and a shortage of skilled workers are growing just as rapidly as the consequences of breaches of duty.
Most regulations are certainly socially desirable. However, their full implementation - and their ever-increasing scope - create massive costs and additional administrative tasks that sap companies' energy and thus threaten their competitiveness. Many voices warn that the German and European economy is being strangled by increasing regulation. Deregulation is an important demand, but how much of it is realistic and on what timescale?
Against this backdrop, the development of innovative and efficient solutions for the extensive automation of legal and compliance processes is urgently needed.
