In this talk, David Salinas will explain the functionality and recent progress of Tabular Foundation Models (TFMs). He will discuss their limitations, particularly the lack of built-in symmetries, and present an application in time-series forecasting. He concludes by introducing TabArena, a recent benchmark for tabular models. Salinas brings extensive experience from his time as a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon and NAVER LABS Europe.
