Barcamp Health Innovation – Patient Journey

The Barcamp Health-IT becomes Barcamp Health Innovation! We are thus continuing the successful format this year and expanding it to include innovative issues and topics that are not directly IT-related.

This year, we want to focus on the patient's journey through our healthcare system - from prevention and acute care to rehabilitation and aftercare. The German healthcare system is complex and the benefits of digitalization are still underutilized in many areas. Chronically ill patients with complex care needs in particular can easily feel lost here.  Doctors, therapists and nurses, on the other hand, often want more information from previous treatments and medical histories.

Let's discuss together how we can make the patient journey easier and simplify the path through our healthcare system.
