AI & Society – Shaping the future responsibly

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is developing globally at unprecedented speed – driven by rapid technological advances and billion-dollar investments. As a pioneer in AI research, Germany has maintained a strong position and international network for many years. The potential of AI is being utilized not only by German science but increasingly by domestic industry – from start-ups through medium-sized enterprises to large corporations.

At the same time, important questions arise in global competition: How will technology and applications continue to develop? How can Germany and Europe cooperate and compete with the USA and China on equal terms in the long term – while acting in a value-oriented manner? How do we secure technological sovereignty? And how do we want AI support to be designed as a society?

These topics are discussed by AI experts from science, business, politics and society at the conference of the Platform Learning Systems. The program includes, among others, Federal Minister Dorothee Bär, Lucilla Sioli and Marc-Uwe Kling.
