I believe in the horse, the automobile is a passing phenomenon’ - this quote is attributed to the German Emperor Wilhelm II. It is a popular bon mot that he was not quite right. Nevertheless, over a hundred years later, the question of the future of the automobile is back on the agenda: the automotive industry is undergoing its biggest transformation in decades - autonomous driving, electrification of the powertrain and the transition to software-defined vehicles as well as business models based on AI-supported technologies are just some of the key topics of discussion. And the automotive industry is increasingly seeing itself not only as a hardware manufacturer, but also as a mobility provider.
As part of the ‘AI can...’ event series, Microsoft will be discussing how AI is shaping the modern driving experience and the entire industry. - this time focussing on the automotive industry. Microsoft cordially invites you to get to know exciting application examples for the use of artificial intelligence in the automotive industry at our event ‘AI can do automotive’. Together with our partner companies Volkswagen, TÜV Süd and Cerence, Microsoft will show you where manufacturers and suppliers are already using AI today, how they are creating the technical standards for safe software-based vehicles and how politicians should promote innovative framework conditions for smart mobility.
Microsoft looks forward to welcoming you.
