AI Breakfast #3: Neural networks are changing the creative industries and society

What does that mean? Ethical and creative approaches to co-creation

Step into a space of rethinking and inspiration: the Retail Garage in Berlin will become a melting pot of ideas where AI enthusiasts, creatives and thought leaders will come together to explore the intersections between artificial intelligence, ethics and creativity. This event shines a spotlight on the profound questions and potentials that arise when technology meets art and interweaves with society and ethics.

Inspiration from the creative scene: The third session of our AI breakfast series is dedicated to voices from the arts and creative industries. Our speakers will present critical works and projects that shed light on the human and therefore ethical challenges we face when AI is used in creative processes. What responsibilities do artists and creatives have? Where are the boundaries? And how can such works inspire reflection and influence social discourse?

We will explore these questions in a fishbowl discussion: our guests will share perspectives on how to navigate the ethical gray area of AI. Why is it crucial that creatives, developers and companies explore this path together? What "must-haves" should we keep in mind when experimenting and innovating with AI?

Interactive part: Prepare yourself for an exciting, interactive session where the audience is invited to join the discussion, ask questions and develop practical solutions together with our guests.

Guided tour through the demonstrators: The Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Handel will be happy to guide the interested audience through a few exciting demonstrators of the applications of artificial intelligence in retail during the networking part.

Partners: medianet, Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Handel, Economic Development Agency of the State Capital of Potsdam, Central Contact Point for AI (ZAKI)

Speakers: Jeanine Koch (medianet), Sophia Lenz (ZAKI), Stefan Frerichs (WiFö Potsdam), Alexandra Matz (SAP Germany, Royal College of Art), Manuel Hendry (Film University Babelsberg), Christian Ogrinz (Sound Dogma Berlin) and many more. Prepare yourself for inspiring impulses and enlightening discussions, moderated by Kristina Bodrozic-Brnic.

Join us for a delicious and informative breakfast filled with insights, discussions and a proactive approach to understanding the role of AI in our society and its interaction with the creative sectors. Take the opportunity to expand your network, learn from speakers in the field and contribute to an important current discourse.
