AI-based robotics 2024 (KIRO2024)

Robotics research and development has made great progress in recent years and the results have long since found their way into industry and society. Technological breakthroughs, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI), are of central importance for robotics. AI-based robots should be able to carry out complex tasks independently in unstructured and constantly changing environments. However, cooperation between humans and robots is also becoming increasingly important due to major social challenges. The demands on robotics are therefore high and are also constantly changing.

In order to create the necessary synergies between the diverse areas of robotics and to tap into the innovation potential of AI-based robotics, the BMBF and the BMWK are jointly organizing the "AI-based Robotics" conference for the first time in 2024. The aim is to promote the exchange between stakeholders in the robotics ecosystem from science, business and politics in order to secure the long-term competitiveness and sovereignty of Germany and Europe in the field of AI-based robotics. You can expect exciting keynotes, discussions and specialist presentations as well as robotics competitions for start-ups and up-and-coming talent. The conference also offers plenty of opportunities for networking.

The first conference will take place on June 18 and 19, 2024 in a hybrid format: Both online participation and on-site participation at FUTURIUM (Alexanderufer 2, 10117 Berlin) are possible. The number of places on site is limited. Information on how to get there and accessibility at the venue can be found here: https://futurium.de/en/visit

The conference language is German, some presentations may be held in English.

Participation is free of charge.
