The DFKI is the world's largest research institution for applied artificial intelligence, developing AI solutions for industry, business, and society in areas such as language technology, computer vision, robotics, machine learning, and human-machine interaction. As a non-profit GmbH, DFKI cooperates with over 100 industry partners and coordinates national and international research projects- the Berlin location focuses on interactive robotics, language technologies, and intelligent analysis and information systems. The institute also trains scientific talent and supports technology transfer and spin-off processes into industry.
