Charité Berlin – AG Maschinelles Lernen in der klinischen Neurobildgebung
The Machine Learning in Clinical Neuroimaging Research Group at Charité – Psychiatry and Psychotherapy – led by Prof. Dr. Kerstin Ritter investigates deep learning methods for computer-assisted diagnosis and disease progression characterization of neurological and psychiatric conditions including multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, and depression using MRI neuroimaging data. Research methods include convolutional neural networks (CNNs), autoencoders, and explainable AI (XAI/layer-wise relevance propagation)- funding comes from DFG, Brain & Behavior Research Foundation, DMSG, and NVIDIA. The group is associated with the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience Berlin.
