Berlin Mathematics Research Center (MATH+)

MATH+ is a DFG-funded Cluster of Excellence in application-oriented mathematics, jointly operated by FU Berlin, HU Berlin, TU Berlin, the Weierstrass Institute (WIAS), and the Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB). The cluster investigates mathematical foundations for data-driven methods in life sciences, materials research, energy systems, and the social sciences. Its second funding period runs 2026–2032- MATH+ is the institutional successor to the Matheon Research Center.
