Artificial intelligence (AI) is a disruptive technology: It has the potential to make the economy robust and efficient and to make a substantial contribution to climate protection. It changes work processes, activities and roles of many employees. It influences the way we communicate, inform ourselves or interact with one another.
In short: AI will shape all areas of our lives in the future. With the current technological leaps in machine learning and robotics, many questions also arise: What do we want to use AI for? When and in which sectors does it contribute to value creation? How can values and participation be secured in an AI-supported society? Where is the technology going? And how can responsible use of AI be promoted in Germany and Europe?
